Through our network of companies, we roll precision strip up to a meter wide and gauges down to .0008″ on select items. We can slit coil as narrow as .024″ and put a round edge on strip as narrow as .040″. Our #3 standard slit edge is considered world-class and preferred by many OEM’s and precision manufacturers.
We provide spring wire and precision-drawn wire from .001″ and up to .875″. We can shave it, centerless grind, and cut-to-length for almost any application, including nuclear.
The alloys we process include stainless steel, carbon steel, nickel alloys, red metals, cobalt, titanium, duplex alloys, and other high-performance alloys in both strip and wire.

Elgiloy Specialty Metals provides precision rolled strip products from three rolling mill facilities and one wire drawing mill.
Precision Strip
Our four state-of-the-art re-roll mills convert cold rolled coil into precision strip. Our US operations offer two, 20 high Sundwigs, a Sendzimer, and a Zag rolling mill. Our precision mills roll to tolerances that are half of industry standards. We also tension level to ensure flatness. Our multiple slitting lines then slit to with providing an exceptional edge with low burr & precision width tolerances along with a better edge condition. This slitting advantage allows our customers’ production operations to run more efficiently.

Precision Drawn Wire
Flexible precision drawing allows us to offer just a few pounds to many thousands of pounds with short, reliable lead times. We draw in multiple mediums including soap and oil for various end uses and finishes. We also provide wire shaving, centerless grinding, and cut-to-length.
Our wire is shipped worldwide to many industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical Processing, Medical & Dental, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation.
Combined Metals Service Centers
Combined Metals Service Centers provide precision slit coil, custom leveled sheet, blanks, and coil-to-coil polishing. Known for our precision slitting and exceptional #3 slit edge, we provide stainless steel and specialty metals strip for demanding applications. We have a deep expertise many markets providing value-added coil to automotive, consumer products, construction, electronics, food service, medical, petrochemical, power generation, and transportation applications.
